Prof. Alhawari is an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering at Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. Prior to joining Wayne State University, he was a Post-doctoral Research Fellow at Khalifa University from 2016 to 2018. He earned a Ph.D. from Khalifa University in 2016, a M.Sc. from Masdar Institute in 2012 and a B.Sc. from Yarmouk University in 2008, All in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Prof. Alhawari is the recipient of the National Science Foundation (NSF) Career award in 2023 . His research interest focuses on power management circuits, near/in-Memory computing circuits, and intelligent healthcare systems.
